The temperature control button will be located differently depending on the washing machine model, but it will be quite easy to discover.

Ms. Beth (who lives in the UK) recently shared an energy-saving tip for washing machines on social media. According to the mother of two, most washing machines are programmed to use 40 degrees of hot water. This will require more energy than regular cold water washing. However, many individuals forget to adjust it before loading the clothing into the washing machine and pressing the start button.

As a result, Ms. Beth recommends clicking the button to lower the temperature to only 20 degrees.
