Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. Cook Meat: Brown the ground meat in a skillet over medium heat (8–10 minutes), adding seasonings as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  3. Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, mix cooked meat, shredded cheese, and diced vegetables.
  4. Form Tater Tot Cups: Press 5–6 tater tots into each muffin tin cavity, forming a cup shape.
  5. Fill Cups: Spoon the meat mixture into each cup, filling them about ¾ full. Top with extra cheese if desired.
  6. Bake: Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Notes

  • For added spice, include paprika or chili powder in the seasoning.
  • Substitute cheddar with mozzarella or pepper jack for flavor variation.
  • Serve with sour cream or ranch for dipping!
