Slow Cooker Ohio Shredded Chicken Sandwiches:
Instructions:
1. Place the boneless chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
2. In a bowl, mix the chicken-flavored stuffing mix and crushed Ritz crackers. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chicken.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup with enough chicken broth or water to create a thick but pourable sauce. Pour this sauce over the chicken and stuffing mixture.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until the chicken is tender and easily shredded with a fork.
Once the chicken is cooked, shred it using two forks directly in the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.
Serve the shredded chicken on hamburger buns, and enjoy your Slow Cooker Ohio Chicken Sandwiches!
