Slow Cooker BBQ Beef Brisket

Directions

1. Place the sliced onion and garlic at the bottom of your slow cooker.
2. Place the brisket on top of the onions.
3. In a bowl, mix together the BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and apple cider vinegar.
4. Pour the sauce mixture over the brisket, making sure it is well coated.
5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the meat is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
6. Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
7. Serve the brisket with additional sauce from the slow cooker.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier twist, add a teaspoon of cayenne pepper or a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce to the BBQ sauce mixture. If you’re cooking for a crowd that includes non-beef eaters, try this same recipe with a pork shoulder. For those who like a sweeter BBQ experience, consider adding a couple of tablespoons of brown sugar or honey to the sauce.
