Slow Cooker 3-Ingredient Rice Pudding
Directions
Rinse the rice under cold water to remove excess starch.
Add the rinsed rice, milk, and sugar to the slow cooker.
Stir everything together to combine.
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the rice is tender and the pudding is creamy.
Stir occasionally if possible (without removing the lid completely) to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom.
Once cooked, give it a final stir and serve warm, or cool it down for a chilled treat.
Variations & Tips
For a bit of spice, add a cinnamon stick or a dash of nutmeg as it cooks. You can also stir in a teaspoon of vanilla extract during the last hour of cooking for extra flavor. If you want to make it dairy-free, substitute the milk with coconut milk or almond milk for a different taste profile. For an extra indulgence, mix in some chocolate chips or raisins during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow them to melt and blend into the pudding.
