Slow-Cooked Chicken with Onions and Peppers

Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and peppers and sauté for a few minutes until they start to soften.
Season the chicken with garlic powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
Add the chicken to the skillet and sear it for 2-3 minutes on each side until it’s golden brown.
Transfer the chicken and vegetables to a roaster pan.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and place it in the oven.
Let the chicken cook for 1 1/2 hours until it’s tender and fully cooked.
Remove the foil and let the chicken cook for another 10-15 minutes until it’s browned and crispy.
