Sausage, Gravy, and Biscuit Pie

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Set to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or baking dish.
  2. Cook the sausage: In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Make the gravy:
    • Prepare the gravy mix according to package instructions using the milk.
    • Once thickened, stir in the cooked sausage. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Assemble the pie:
    • Pour the sausage and gravy mixture into the prepared pie dish.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top (optional).
    • Tear the biscuit dough into pieces and arrange it over the top, covering the filling.
  5. Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Cool slightly: Let the pie rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.

Serve & Enjoy

Slice and serve warm, topped with extra gravy if desired. This dish is a delicious twist on classic biscuits and gravy!
