Instructions
Prepare the Meat Layer:
- Cook the meat: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add aromatics: Stir in onion and garlic and cook for 3–4 minutes until fragrant.
- Combine with sauce: Add marinara sauce, diced ham, crumbled bacon, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Cook the Pasta:
- Boil pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Assemble the Casserole:

- Layer it up:
- Spread half of the meat sauce in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Add a layer of pasta.
- Sprinkle with 1 cup mozzarella and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce on top.

Add the Topping:
- Top it off: Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the casserole. Add crumbled bacon for extra flavor.
Bake:
- Bake the casserole: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
Serve & Enjoy
Scoop into bowls and serve hot with garlic bread or a fresh side salad.
