Instructions
1. Prepare the Meatloaf Base:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Press the meatloaf mixture evenly into the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top.
2. Bake the Meatloaf:

- Return the dish to the oven and bake for another 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- For a golden, crispy top, broil for an additional 2–3 minutes.
6. Garnish and Serve:
- Remove from the oven and let the casserole cool for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with crumbled bacon and sliced green onions.
