Homemade No-Bake Cake

Instructions:

Cake Base:

First, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, adding a pinch of salt. Then, gradually add the sugar, mixing until frothy. Next, sift the flour and gently fold it into the mixture by hand.

After that, line a glass baking dish with parchment paper and pour in the batter. Preheat the oven to 356 °F (180 °C) and bake for about 10 minutes. Once baked, pour 100 ml of warm milk over the cake and let it cool completely.

Cream:

First, heat the milk over low heat. Meanwhile, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and vanilla extract. Add a small amount of the heated milk to the egg yolk mixture to ease blending.

Once the sugar dissolves completely, sift in the flour and mix until foamy. When the milk begins to boil, add the egg yolk mixture to the milk and cook, stirring continuously, for about 5 minutes or until the cream thickens.

Let the cream cool completely, then mix it again until smooth. Add the margarine and 3 tablespoons of dissolved gelatin, reserving 1 tablespoon of gelatin for the whipped cream.

Whipped Cream:

Combine the heavy cream and milk, mixing until the desired consistency is reached. Add the reserved gelatin and mix again.

Finally, assemble the cake and decorate as desired. If you love fruit, you can finish it with whipped cream, strawberries, raspberries, or any seasonal fruit of your choice.
