200 grams (7 ounces) of heavy cream
½ cup of granulated sugar
395 grams (14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk
Instructions:
Place the granulated sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Allow the sugar to melt and caramelize until it reaches a golden brown color.
Carefully and gradually add the heavy cream to the caramelized sugar while stirring continuously. This helps prevent lumps and ensures the caramel mixes well with the cream.
Once the cream is well combined with the caramel, add the sweetened condensed milk. Continue stirring until the mixture begins to boil.
Keep stirring the mixture over medium-high heat until it thickens to a desired consistency. Once the mixture has thickened, turn off the heat and allow it to cool slightly before serving.
