Hawaiian Grilled Teriyaki Chicken
Ingredients
- 3 pounds of boneless and skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
- 1 and 1/2 cups of standard strength soy sauce or tamari sauce
- 1 and 1/2 cups of white sugar
- 3/4 cups of brown sugar
- 3/4 cups of mirin a sweet rice wine from Japan, not rice vinegar
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons of freshly grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper

- Thinly sliced green onions
- Toasted sesame seeds.
