Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes.
Let cool on a rack.
For a unique twist on Grandma’s classic cinnamon rolls, consider adding your own variations to the recipe.
Incorporate the zest and juice of oranges or clementines into the filling for a bright citrusy flavor,
or sprinkle chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts for added crunch.
Soaking raisins in liqueurs such as Grand Marnier or Amaretto can elevate the richness of the rolls.
For an indulgent topping, swap the traditional glaze for a tangy cream cheese frosting.
These simple adjustments allow you to customize the recipe while maintaining the timeless comfort of this beloved treat.
To store Grandma’s Cinnamon Rolls and keep them fresh, ensure they are completely cooled before placing them in an airtight container or wrapping them tightly in plastic wrap.
At room temperature, they stay fresh for up to two days, while refrigeration extends their shelf life to five days.
For longer storage, freeze the unfrosted rolls by wrapping them individually and placing them in a freezer-safe container; they’ll stay good for up to three months.
When ready to enjoy, simply reheat in the microwave for 20-30 seconds or warm in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for about 10 minutes.
Add icing after reheating for the best results.
