- ½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil
- ⅔ cup (150ml) milk, room temperature
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons (16g) baking powder
For the Apple Topping
- 1 large apple (preferably Granny Smith or Golden Delicious)
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon apricot jam
