Decadent Chicken and Mushroom Pasta in Creamy Sauce
Cook the pasta: Boil the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the sauce: In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
Slice the cooked chicken and add it to the sauce. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet and mix everything together.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
