Creamy Apple Cake with Milk and Yogurt

Preparation

  1. Preparation of the Apples:
  • Wash and peel the apples. Cut them into slices and place them in a bowl with the lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Mix and set aside.
  1. Preparation of the Dough:
  • In another bowl, combine the sugar with the eggs. Using an electric whisk, beat everything until the mixture is fluffy and frothy.
  • With the whisks still moving, pour in the oil, then add the milk and finally the yogurt.
  1. Incorporate the Dry Ingredients:
  • Add the sifted flour with the yeast, mixing well with a spoon or an electric whisk until the mixture is liquid and smooth
  1. Incorporate the Apples:
  • Incorporate 2/3 of the previously prepared apples into the mixture, mixing gently with a spoon.
  1. Cooking:
  • Pour the mixture into a mold lined with baking paper. Distribute the remaining apple slices on top.
  • Bake in a static oven preheated to 190°/200° for about 50 minutes. If the cake darkens too much on the surface during baking, cover it with a little silver paper or baking paper.
  1. Finishing:
  • Once cooked, let the cake cool in the mold. Before serving, sprinkle with vanilla icing sugar.
