Creamy Apple Cake with Milk and Yogurt
Preparation
- Preparation of the Apples:
- Wash and peel the apples. Cut them into slices and place them in a bowl with the lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Mix and set aside.
- Preparation of the Dough:
- In another bowl, combine the sugar with the eggs. Using an electric whisk, beat everything until the mixture is fluffy and frothy.
- With the whisks still moving, pour in the oil, then add the milk and finally the yogurt.
- Incorporate the Dry Ingredients:
- Add the sifted flour with the yeast, mixing well with a spoon or an electric whisk until the mixture is liquid and smooth
- Incorporate the Apples:
- Incorporate 2/3 of the previously prepared apples into the mixture, mixing gently with a spoon.
- Cooking:
- Pour the mixture into a mold lined with baking paper. Distribute the remaining apple slices on top.
- Bake in a static oven preheated to 190°/200° for about 50 minutes. If the cake darkens too much on the surface during baking, cover it with a little silver paper or baking paper.
- Finishing:
- Once cooked, let the cake cool in the mold. Before serving, sprinkle with vanilla icing sugar.
