cranberry orange cake
Ingredients:
For the Cake:
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (from about 1 orange)
• Zest of 1 orange
• 1/2 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries (cut in half if large)
For the Glaze:
• 1 cup powdered sugar
• 2-3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
• Zest of 1/2 orange (optional, for extra flavor)
