Preheat oven to 350℉

Prepare your work surface with wax paper

Roll out sugar cookie dough

Use the shot glass as a cookie-cutter

Place the round cookie dough cutouts on a baking sheet prepared with parchment paper

Bake for 6 minutes or JUST until the edges of the cookies become golden. Sugar cookie dough burns easily and it will continue to cook as the cookies cool on the baking sheet

Immediately after removing them from the oven, use the bottom of the shot glass to gently press the center of the cookies in.

Use the straw to poke 2 round holes in each cookie

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet

Once cooled, tie them together with baker’s twine
