Yogurt Donut
Process:
Ingredient Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 175°C and prepare a donut mold approximately 25 cm in diameter, greasing it with butter and lightly flouring it.
Ingredient Processing:
In a large bowl, mix the egg yolks with the sugar until it is a light and fluffy mixture.
Adding other ingredients:
Add the natural yogurt and melted butter to the yolk and sugar mixture. Mix well to combine everything.
Adding the dry ingredients:
Add the potato starch, flour and the packet of vanilla sugar sifted together. Stir the dry ingredients well into the liquid mixture.
Preparing the egg whites:
In another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt.
Adding the egg whites:
Add the beaten egg whites to the mixture, mixing gently from top to bottom so as not to break the whites too much. The mixture should be homogeneous.
Cooking:
Pour the mixture into the prepared mould, levelling the surface with a spatula.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 35-40 minutes, or until the donut is golden and a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Cooling and Serving:
Once baked, allow the donut to cool in the mould for a few minutes, then carefully unmould onto a wire rack and allow to cool completely before serving.
This yogurt donut is sure to be a hit thanks to its softness and the delicate flavor of yogurt. Happy preparation and bon appetit! 😋🥰
