Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Mix the ground beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl until well combined.
- Form patties from the mixture (around 4–6) and arrange them in the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, the remaining milk, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this sauce over the hamburger steaks in the baking dish.
- Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes, until the meat is fully cooked and the sauce is bubbly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the steaks and return to the oven for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes, green beans, or your favorite sides!
