Beef Stir-fry with Mushrooms Recipe

Instructions:

1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce, and 1/2 tbsp cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
2. Prepare the sauce: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and rice wine (if using). Set aside.
3. Stir-fry the beef: Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned but still slightly pink inside (about 2-3 minutes). Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.
4. Stir-fry the mushrooms: Add the garlic and ginger to the wok and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the mushrooms and stir-fry until softened (about 3-5 minutes).
5. Combine and simmer: Return the beef to the wok. Pour the sauce over the beef and mushrooms. Stir-fry until the sauce thickens and coats the ingredients evenly (about 1-2 minutes).
6. Garnish and serve: Garnish with sliced green onions. Serve hot with steamed rice.
Tips and Variations:
– You can adjust the amount of soy sauce and oyster sauce to your liking.
– Feel free to add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or broccoli.
– For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes or a dash of chili garlic sauce.
