Apple Brownies with Maple Glaze

What You’ll Need

Maple Glaze: This glaze covers the top of the brownies. It is made from unsalted butter, pure maple syrup, powdered sugar, pure vanilla extract and pumpkin pie spice.
How to Make Apple Brownies
Cook the Filling: Cook your filling for about 5-7 minutes in a medium pot over low heat or until the apples are fully cooked. Set it aside to cool completely.

Make the Batter: Cream the butter, brown sugar, and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Then beat in your eggs until well mixed. Next, add in the salt and vanilla. Whisk the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and pumpkin spice together in a medium bowl. Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ones.
Build the Cake: Pour in half of the batter into the pan, then pour the apple filling on top. Pour in the remaining batter on top of the apple filling. Set in the oven and for 25-30 minutes bake in the oven or until a tester toothpick comes out clean.

When your butter is completely melted, take off the heat and then add in the powdered sugar, and stir until smooth and combined.
