One of the great things about doing this 365 day blog is that if it forces me to do things I wouldn’t normally do. Like cleaning my floor. Well, I clean my floors, but not as often as I should. I hate acting sooooooo much! At the lower level, I now have a thicker floor cleaner that makes it less of a hassle.
The kitchen isn’t really bad. I love parquet floors because a damp paper towel will do the job most of the time. But the bathrooms? Now that’s a different story.
I live in a male house. Anyone with children knows what a “boy’s bathroom smells like.” I swear it’s in the walls. I can wipe down all the surfaces in there and rub the floor on my hands and knees and still walk around the house like Oscar the Grouch’s version of the Glade plug-in.
This recipe is for heavy-duty cleaning like in a commercial kitchen. Designed as a grease cutter. But what attracts me to clarify is the fact that someone wrote in the description “smells great”.
The problem with using cleaners that get ammonia like Pine-Sol in the bathroom is that they make urine smell worse. Seriously, my bathroom smells great because the floors look so clean. At least about next 11 sec .
